Lahore, Pakistan: Code School has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Loretto House School, Lahore, marking the launch of a turnkey coding literacy program delivered on campus. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to preparing children with skills that go beyond rote learning and equip them for a rapidly changing world.

Under this collaboration, Code School will deliver structured, instructor-led coding classes for primary grades. The program focuses on building computational thinking, problem-solving, and logical reasoning through age-appropriate, project-based learning.

Reflecting on the collaboration, Mariam Raza Zaidi, Partnerships Lead at Code School, noted that Loretto House “stood out for its commitment to excellence,” adding that the partnership was only possible due to the forward thinking vision and mission of school leader Ms. Sahar Khan.

Coding at Code School is designed to be accessible and engaging. Students learn through interactive games and guided projects that encourage curiosity and creativity, while quietly building foundational skills like sequencing, logic, and pattern recognition. These are skills that support learning across subjects, not just in technology.

“For us, coding is not about producing programmers at age seven,” said Sadaf Rehman, Co-founder and CEO of Code School. “It’s about giving children a way of thinking - how to break problems down, how to test ideas, how to learn from mistakes. Partnering with a school like Loretto, which values strong fundamentals, makes this work meaningful and sustainable.”

The turnkey model means Loretto School can integrate the program without adding operational burden. Code School manages curriculum, instructors, assessments, and quality assurance, while the school provides the learning environment and timetable. Students who complete modules receive digital certificates, giving parents and schools clear visibility into progress.

The MoU signing marks the beginning of a phased rollout aligned with the 2026 school calendar. Both teams will work closely to ensure smooth implementation and a positive classroom experience for students.

As schools increasingly look for ways to prepare children for the future without overwhelming them, partnerships like this demonstrate how thoughtful, age-appropriate coding education can fit naturally into the school day—supporting learning, not distracting from it.
