Entrepreneurship in the Digital Age
Last date to sign up: 29 May 2026
A hands-on, real-world internship program where participants learn how to build a real business from scratch. Each week introduces a core entrepreneurship concept, and participants immediately apply it to develop, refine, and pitch their own original business idea. This isn't theory. It's hands-on, structured, and yours to own.
Session 1: Business Fundamentals & Value Proposition
Session 2: User Personas & Journey Mapping
Session 3: How Do You Reach Them? Build Your Content Strategy
Session 4: Bring It All Together; Pitch Your Startup
WHAT YOU WILL GET
A four-week, project-based program with weekly masterclasses, independent assignments, and direct mentorship from the Code School CFO & team, where every concept learned is immediately applied to your own original business idea. Each session builds on the last, from defining your idea to understanding your customer, to crafting your content strategy, to delivering a live pitch. Each participant leaves with a business value proposition, a published social media post, and a website wireframe.
Designed for ambitious teens (14+) who are ready to think and build like founders. Includes a Code School Summer Associate certificate on completion.
CURRICULUM
Session 1: What Makes a Business? What turns an idea into a real business? Participants explore the value proposition of a strong business concept; the problem it solves, who it's for, the value it creates, and what makes it unique. By the end of the session, each participant has identified and defined their own original business idea using this exact framework.
Session 2: Who Is Your Customer? Every business exists to solve a problem for a real person. Participants learn how to build a customer persona and map the journey that person takes from experiencing a problem, to discovering a solution to committing to a product. They then built this for their own business.
Session 3: How Do You Reach Them? A great idea needs a clear voice. Participants learn the fundamentals of content strategy, how to define their audience, shape their message, and show up on the right platforms. They then design a content strategy to attract real customers to their own business.
Session 4: Pitch Your Startup: Everything comes together in a live pitch. Participants present their original business idea, covering the concept, target customer, content strategy, and what makes it worth building to the Code School team.
By the end of the program, each participant will have designed a business and built, designed, and deployed a fully functional web application from wireframes and UI design to AI-assisted coding and live public deployment.
