WHAT YOU WILL GET
- TWO Coding Sessions: Saturday & Sunday sessions for one hour, led by a certified coding instructor.
- FOUR Optional Play Hours: Students can play Roblox on private Code School servers every Sunday to learn through play.
- Online Sessions: All classes last one hour and are conducted via Zoom.
- Small Class Sizes: Up to ten children per class for individualised support.
- Coding materials: All customers will receive digital flashcards and course outline, and can generate a certificate once the course is completed. .
- Medium of Instruction: All classes are in English, with instructors based in multiple time zones.
CURRICULUM
Minecraft Modding Camp: Mob Madness Edition
In this 2-day weekend camp, students aged 11–16 will dive into Java programming using the CodeKingdoms platform.
They’ll build and customise their own game called Mob Madness, coding real Java to control movement, create challenges, and design gameplay inside the world of Minecraft.- Day 1: Set Up & Start Coding
Students begin by launching into Minecraft Java Edition and exploring the CodeKingdoms modding interface. They'll learn foundational coding concepts like functions, events, and modifying mobs, as they start customizing their game environment and laying the groundwork for their very own Mob Madness adventure.
- Day 2: Interactions, Logic & Final Game
Now it’s time to take their mod to the next level! Students will code movement, interactivity, and game logic, making their Minecraft world dynamic and exciting. They’ll finish their Mob Madness games, playtest each other’s creations, and end with a fun Kahoot quiz to reinforce what they’ve learned and celebrate their coding journey.

• Laptop or desktop with keyboard and mouse
• Minecraft Java Edition account (setup help will be provided)
• Internet access and Zoom
• No prior Java experience required—but basic familiarity with Minecraft is helpful!
