CURRICULUM
Two-Day Roblox Obby Builder Camp
In this hands-on camp, students will learn how to design, code, and publish their own obstacle course ("obby") game in Roblox Studio. From creative level-building to beginner-friendly Lua scripting, this camp blends game design with real coding skills.- Day 1: Design Your Obby
Students will dive into Roblox Studio and start building their very own obby game. They'll learn how to shape unique levels, place obstacles, and create engaging challenges that players will love. The focus will be on creativity, spatial design, and player experience, using intuitive tools and 3D building techniques.
- Day 2: Code, Test & Share
On Day 2, students will bring their games to life using Lua scripting. They'll add features like moving platforms, scoring systems, win/lose logic, and responsive player interactions. After coding, students will test and debug their games, make improvements, and publish their obby so friends and family can play!
